Brett Veach’s net worth has risen from a few hundred thousand to a million dollars in the last two decades.
Veach rose from a coaching intern to one of the NFL’s most successful general managers. Certainly, the advancement of his position resulted in a large increase in his pay; little surprise he is a member of the millionaire’s club. Veach has been the Kansas City Chiefs’ general manager since 2017. He guided the club to two Super Bowl triumphs (LIV and LVII) as an executive. Brett will be in his 11th season with the Chiefs and his 7th as General Manager in 2023. He was recognized throughout the years for his ability to preserve pay caps and orchestrate important negotiations.

Veach is credited for “pushing” Patrick Mahomes, a former Texas Tech player, and even declaring him a future NFL star before the draft. Mahomes was later signed by the Chiefs as the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Myles Garrett, Mitchell Trubisky, Soloman Thomas, and Christian McCaffrey were also selected.

Brett Veach Net Worth & Salary: How Rich Is the Chiefs General Manager?

Brett Veach’s net worth is expected to be $4 million in 2023. Notably, he amassed a sizable fortune after taking over as general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. Even though there are no specifics about his contract or compensation, he supposedly makes a nice income, most likely in the seven-digit range (i.e., millions of dollars). Brett signed a contract extension with the Chiefs in November 2020 after leading the club to a Super Bowl LIV win (during the 2019-20 season). It most likely increased his compensation and bonuses, but the contents of the agreement remain unknown.

The salary of an NFL team’s general manager runs between $1 and $3 million on average, although it may be much more based on experience and negotiations. For example, Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots is the highest-paid NFL head coach and general manager. As previously reported, he earns $20 million per year as head coach, which includes a $7.5 million salary for his duties as general manager. He has been the team’s de facto general manager since 2000.

He lives there with his wife, Alison Wascavage (they married on June 26, 2015), and their three children: Ella, Elijah, and Wylan. However, the specifics of his other assets are unknown.
